Imo State Governor, Ihedioha Pleads With Nigerians Not To See Okorocha’s Probe As Witch-Hunt

Newly elected Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has told Nigerians not to see the probe of former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, as a witch-hunt.

Ihedioha stated this during his condolence visit to the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, over the death of his father.

He further stated that he is waiting for the outcome of the probe report, he added that the investigation is a drive toward making Imo State better.

According to Naija News, the Imo State Governor noted that his government would not hesitate to implement the recommendations of the committee’s report once it was ready.

In his statement, Ihedioha said: “I don’t think I said all those things. Because I am not witch-hunting the former governor. There was a committee that we set up that is doing all those things (investigations).”

“The findings of the committee have not been made known to me. Obviously, this (probe) is to make Imo State better now.
